Announcing Building Mac OS X apps with RubyMotion book
Dec 19, 2013 - Elliott Draper
I’m having so much fun writing the recent articles on building Mac OS X apps with RubyMotion, and have so much more great content planned, that I decided I might as well take it to the next level and write a book on the topic. So today I’m announcing that Building Mac OS X apps with RubyMotion is currently a work in progress, with a target release date of April 2014. It’ll be similar to the articles I’ve been writing recently on the same topic, only expanded a great deal, and with more code and example apps. I have a broad list of topics to cover as well, and I’m excited to provide a detailed resource on building efficient, smart RubyMotion Mac OS X apps.
I’ll be opening up early access pre-orders for the book in January when I have an initial version with some content in it ready to go. Pre-ordering will lock in a special price, and you’ll be able to continue to receive updates to the book as I continue to write it, along with the final version when it’s done. There will also be some different packages, so whether you just want the book, or want some extra content all related to Mac OS X development with RubyMotion, there will be something for everyone.
If you don’t want to miss the early access pre-order going up, then subscribe below to be kept up to date - doing so will also give you an exclusive discount in addition to the pre-order one, so you’ll be able to get the book at an even better price!
