Mr Snowflakes
Mr Snowflakes is a Christmas e-card creator, allowing you to decorate a tree with wonderful Christmas ornaments, and send your completed card to your friends via e-mail, on Facebook, on Twitter, or by sharing the URL directly.
Technology: Rails 3, Mongo, jQuery
Responsibilities: KickCode was responsible for building the site with design work provided by Capra, and the ornament artwork was provided by Abbey Neville. Building the site involved spinning up a brand new Rails 3 app using MongoDB, and using jQuery on the client side for all of the fun drag and drop goodness. We relaunched the app for 2011, to make it usable without needing to sign in with Facebook, and with a lovely new design!
